I.C.Movement: Dom Perignon ‘Lumos’ Launch
Brought together by the culture-defining Florian Wupperfeld, I.C. Movement & Studio Waldemeyer helped Dom Perignon take a giant step into the future with a sparkling martial art extravaganza at the launch of Dom Perignon’s Luminous label.
Choreographed by Adam Rae, (and assisted by Glenn Hudson) he created a highly innovative mix of contemporary dance and martial arts using a set of custom made LED swords in Dom Perignon green: programmed with the signature Dom Perignon Shield & Dom Perignon Text.
Designer Moritz Waldemeyer has made a name for himself as a one-of-a-kind innovator across several fields having been commissioned to create in just about every medium of culture and entertainment. The coming together of the timeless quality that is Dom Perignon’s brand, coupled with an exciting blend of martial arts performance and innovative technology and product design was a match made in heaven, and resulted in an experience enjoyed by all the guests in attendance.
Created to be stylish & sexy it was an all-girls piece with artists Cecily Fay, Lizzie Gough & Selina Lo. With costumes created in the style of Tron with el-wire and close fitting catsuits, we aimed to evoke the spirit of a charlie’s angel/femme fatale energy, with the performers appearing equally attractive and dangerous.
The event was created to Launch the exclusive ‘Lumos’ Label Bottle: A label made of Electroluminescence that could be switched on and off!
The Backdrop for the event was the stunning event space One Mayfair. Company ‘Clever Projections’ mapped the stained glass with Dom Perignon Green Projections & Effects, to add an atmospheric glow to the affair.
